Hey Fam
I’m Pat, your tall, happy-vibes only Celebrant old mate and as my very unique and heartfelt name suggests, I’m Canberra-based. Whilst I’m Canberra-based, I’m happy to travel to celebrate love Australia-wide and soon… International and I am obsessed with Schitt’s Creek!
I became a celebrant by accident… But it was the best accident ever! In 2018, my best friend Shaun and his wife Sophie asked me to officiate their wedding. This meant going back to school to get my qualification to do so. It was meant to be a one-time thing, but I fell in love with the magic of weddings and never looked back.
I do have a habit of forming personal friendships with the couples I marry and I make no apology for that.
By day, I work full-time for the government (so I won’t be available to chat during business hours), but come 4pm and on weekends, I’m all about love, laughter, and crafting ceremonies that truly reflect my couples.
In 2018, I celebrated my own wedding to the love of my life, Troy, and as a married man, I know first hand how special your day is. I only take one wedding per day, so for your whole day, I’m all about you!
When I’m not celebrating love, I’m off traveling the world, spending time with my two fur babies, Max and Lucy, or dreaming up new ways to make wedding ceremonies even more fun and meaningful.
If you’re looking for a celebrant who believes in real, heartfelt, and joy-filled ceremonies and who is allowed to take the reins of your ceremony to create something EPIC and give you a light roast or two along the way, let’s make some magic together!
Can you invite me as a guest at your reception? You bloody bet! Full disclosure though, if you invite me to attend your reception as a guest, I will absolutely drink my bodyweight in beer and cocktails and tear up the dancefloor.

Typically, a wedding ceremony lasts between 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the elements you choose to include.

It’s best to book as early as possible, especially for peak wedding seasons. I recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advance.

Yes! I am happy to travel to your chosen location. However, additional travel costs may apply for ceremonies outside my standard service area.

In the unlikely event that I cannot attend, I have a network of trusted celebrants who I can call upon to step in and deliver your ceremony as planned.

Simply get in touch via my contact page, and we can arrange an initial consultation to discuss your ceremony. A deposit is required to secure your date.
